Seeking wisdom in the silence…

The busier we get the less we can hear .....ain't that the truth!  Have you felt like your thoughts, your emotions are not in your control?  Is it impacting your health, your sleep, your relationships?  Can you really 'hear' what is going on in your life?

The ancient sages have long told of the truth existing in stillness.  What are you seeking the answer to?  What is it you want to know?

The answer, every answer, is in the silence of meditation - yet it is the one thing so many of us avoid when the going is ....well just GOING!In our busyness we are either desperately seeking OR we're avoiding the truth and instead churning on the mouse wheel of life. We layer stress and mental clutter over the source of these answers, our intuition, preventing us from truly 'hearing' others and what is happening both within and around us.  Without stillness we block ourselves from living our best life.

My wish for you is to make time to gift yourself this weekend, to find stillness.  Perhaps it's alone time first thing in the morning before everyone wakes, slide off the bed sit upright and take in the best part of the day.  Perhaps it's a guided meditation or peaceful Savasana at the end of your day.  Perhaps it's when you're sitting in the car biding time while the kids are at training ;-)

Don't let excuses and busyness get in the way of this gift to yourself.  Every one of us has the ability to connect with inner wisdom, to know exactly what it is we need to do, how to respond.  Each of us deserve to feel the peace that wisdom delivers.
