I’ve been teaching Yogalates, Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Meditation + Breath Therapy for over 20 years. The foundations of my teachings are The Yogalates Method incorporating the Key Fundamental Pelvic Patterns in Yoga Therapy (by Josephine Key - The Key Approach, Neuro-Musculo-Skeletal Physiotherapist). Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Exercise Physiologists, Body Therapists + GPs have long referred to me because I offer a safe approach to functional movement, effective rehabilitation from joint + spinal injuries, re-training dysfunctional core + pelvic floor (including applying them functionally to Asana Yoga practice, Pilates reformer and matwork).  I specialise in improved breathing efficiency + developing breath awareness as a tool for the profound physical, mental + emotion support it is ultimately the foundation of.

Making the connection of breath + core activation and their direct link to organ function, nervous system regulation, posturo-movement dysfunction and pain is LIFE CHANGING! Perhaps this is so because breath awareness develops a steady mind + a sense of connection thereby providing relief + ease in the body ... I’ll let you be the judge.

Advance your skills and knowledge on body types, conditions and injuries. Deepen your understanding of the more complex pose groups ie. Standing sequencing, Downward Facing Dog etc. Enhance your ability to provide multifaceted classes and private sessions. Exploring thoracic and shoulder girdle stability and their correlation to a functional core. Add more to your tool box applying prop usage. Level up on your technical skills on cueing how to teach a particular Asana or sequence your classes.
