3 steps to finding your momentum in 2022

If you are out of routine and feeling a lack of motivation you’re not alone. Post-festive season, perhaps isolation/covid, holidays and now priorities are lining back up again. Our transition into the new year has perhaps meant our current priorities surmount any new year goals we may have come up with.

I’m not one for new year resolutions and I don’t go for affirmations, but I do have a simple technique that has successfully supported me creating what I want. We can talk about what we want to do, write up our goals, but until we place ourselves into really FEELING how it’s going to feel when we have achieved it we haven’t attached to our ‘why’ and it’s more challenging to build the routine and discipline required to achieve it. It’s also a great way to cull those goals that were not our own - made on a whim or doing what we think we ‘should’ do because of external influences. Stepping into feeling the outcome helps discard the crappy goals that we weren’t going to achieve anyhow.

When we make time to feel what we want it sets up our energy to draw more of the same toward us. We effortlessly make choices aligned with our desires and create a routine to match because we associate with and want more of those feels. Now there’s momentum!

Connecting to that feeling removes the ‘chore’ and aligns us with the motivation to do the little things which will lead towards our desire, it attracts more of it to you whilst removing the struggle ~ the struggle is NOT real! Placing yourself in a moment of gratitude now for what is to come is the most powerful way to create your life. Here’s what I do;

  1. Decide what it is you WANT to achieve ~ from your heart’s desire rather than something anyone else needs of you or what you think you ‘should’ do - just for YOU personally, what do you truly want?

  2. Close your eyes and FEEL what it feels like to have/be it, take your time let every cell in your body truly immerse into it ~ connecting with how it feels, having gratitude in the now, sets up our energy so we attract more of what we are!

  3. Stay with that feeling and do ONE THING TODAY that aligns with you achieving/being it, keep it simple, one step at a time, most importantly is ‘feeling’ it as you do it ~ is there something you can place around you that will remind you of this feeling?

Here’s to creating YOUR 2022!
