Keen to bring more Yoga into your every day life?
You'll find my favourite all time reads here for those of you ready to take your Yoga off the mat and into your every day life........
It looks like a cooler and possibly a wet winter's weekend here if you're a local, or perhaps on the other side of Australia or the planet you could find warmth in the sun, either way to relax into a good read this weekend is wellness bliss time!
Modern Yoga has led to many believing it's all about a good stretch class or getting a great Downward Facing Dog or handstand on your mat .....but it is so so so much more than this. The essence of Yoga is in 'yolking or union' ie making connection and an understanding of mind+body, head+heart, Self+others, Self+nature, Self+Universe and anything else we seek connection with on our unique journeys.
Essentially the goal of Yoga is to become a less distracted, judgemental and re-active, more calm, resilient, patient, kind and loving human. Let it show up not just in your poses in your daily tasks, interactions, relationships, choices, finances - in your everything. Living Yoga. Keen to learn more?
I have listed below books that have made the most impact on me during the last 27yrs of my journey of Yoga. Please don't hesitate to be in touch if you are looking for tips on something in particular.
If you are interested in joining our Inspya Book Club we start The Surrender Experiment by Michael Singer this week, catching up on Monday 27th July 7.30pm, click link to register.
